This article will walk you through the steps to properly set up a Samsung display for installation. 


  • Power on the display

  • Make sure settings are correct (See below for menu navigation)

    • Disable Power Save settings

    • Set Time and Time Zone

    • Set Failover settings for proper input selections

    • Set Power on Source 

    • Set Video wall mode (If Applicable)

      • Number of Columns and Rows

      • Tile # for each display

      • Document primary display and sequential cable path to follow.


  • Check that media player settings are proper - (Does the image work as it's supposed to?)

    • If not, check network connections

    • If Network connections are correct, work with Duggal System tech to troubleshoot further issues



Default settings for Samsung displays


  • If the Samsung is brand new or factory reset, follow these steps.


  • Power on and start setup

  • Configure Display Orientation

  • SKIP Network and Server settings

  • Set Time & Date


  • Initial Setup Completed

  • Connect Media Player and select connected Input Source

  • Under “System” turn all Auto Source Switching to “Off”





  • Set all Eco Solution Setting to “Off”
