Before beginning setup of a BSBI Bluefin display for connection to Duggal CMS please be sure you have the following:
- (2) Micro SD Cards
- (1) BSBI Bluefin Display w/ power cable
- (1) Cellular Modem (or data connection)
- (1) RJ-45 Cable
Micro SD cards should have been provided already setup for this activation but if SD cards are not setup please refer to this article for instructions. Please reach out to Duggal Team for any license numbers or additional information you need.

After following the instructions above you should have two Micro SD Cards,
- Setup File 1, or the Brightsign Setup File
- Setup File 2, or the CMS Setup File
BSBI Bluefin Setup :
Step 1:
- Power on Modem
- Wait for all lights on modem to come on. This may take 5-10 minutes
Step 2:
- Connect BSBI Bluefin display directly to modem via RJ-45 cable
- If there are multiple displays, please check for a provided network switch and connect each display to the network switch. Then connect the network switch to the modem.
Step 3:
- Make sure that the Bluefin display is not yet powered on by the modem or network switch
- Grab the first micro SD card, Setup File 1, and insert the SD card into the display
- Power on the display
- The screen may flash on and off a few time but please wait for a purple Brightsign screen that says "Congratulations" to appear
Step 4:
- Once the "Congratulations" screen appears turn the display off and take out the micro SD card
- Insert the second micro SD card, Setup File 2
- This setup will also take 5-10 minutes
- The setup will be complete when you see blue skies appear on the screen
Step 5:
- Once you see blue skies please notify the Duggal team who will then check to see if have a remote connection
- Content will then be published to the screen, this may take another 5-10 minutes to upload
- Once you see content playing on the screen the setup is complete
